If you are looking for somewhere new to eat in the city, the search just got much easier. Public voting opens today for Map Your Dubai: Insider Edition, a joint project by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Google. The campaign shifts its focus to the public today, aiming to channel community recommendations directly into growth for local, homegrown restaurants and cafes. From today, residents and visitors can log on to vote across 11 distinct culinary lists built by a volunteer network of Google Maps Local Guides. These guides have mapped out more than 100 neighborhood dining spots and hidden gems across the city. The digital voting lines stay open from 22 June until 6 July 2026, and the top guides will be highlighted across official social channels.
